Dr. Duan’ research focuses on two main research areas: the clinical research of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in digestive endoscopy and the study of liver fibrosis-related diseases, both clinically and mechanistically.
同济大学附属东方医院消化内镜中心专职内镜医生。同济大学优秀青年人才，上海浦东新区卫生健康委员会优秀青年医学人才。现担任中华医学会消化内镜学分会外科学组青年委员，中国幽门螺杆菌信息中心编辑委员，上海市医学会消化内镜专科分会胶囊学组委员，上海健康医学院消化内镜培训中心导师。
Dr. Duan is a dedicated endoscopist at the Digestive Endoscopy Center of Tongji University Affiliated Oriental Hospital. He is recognized as an outstanding young talent by Tongji University and the Shanghai Pudong New Area Health Committee. Currently, he serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Surgery Group of the Digestive Endoscopy Society of the Chinese Medical Association, an Editorial Board Member of the China Helicobacter Pylori Information Center, a Capsule Group Member of the Digestive Endoscopy Specialty Committee of the Shanghai Medical Association, and a Mentor at the Digestive Endoscopy Training Center of Shanghai Health Medical College.
以访问学者身份赴美国杜克大学，从事消化道肿瘤、肝脏纤维化等相关研究。现主持国家青年自然科学基金项目1项，上海市浦东新区卫生系统优秀青年医学人才项目1项。发表SCI收录论文20余篇，拥有发明和实用新型专利9项。
Dr. Duan's main research achievements include working as a visiting scholar at Duke University in the United States, focusing on research related to gastrointestinal tumors and liver fibrosis. He currently leads one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and one Outstanding Young Medical Talent Project of the Shanghai Pudong New Area Health System. Dr. Duan has published over 20 papers indexed by SCI and holds 9 invention and utility model patents.
