以肝脏疾病（肝纤维化、门脉高压，以及肝脏再生、药物性肝损等）为研究方向；临床以肝脏疾病和胃肠疾病的诊治为特长，尤其擅长于疑难、危重病例的诊治，包括消化内镜的诊治操作。

Prof. Yang’ research focuses on liver diseases (liver fibrosis, portal hypertension, liver regeneration, drug-induced liver damage, etc.). His clinical specialty is in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases and gastrointestinal diseases, especially in the difficult and critical cases. Endoscopic operation is also one of his features.

杨长青教授留学于美国哈佛大学医学院，长期从事消化系统疾病诊疗、特别是肝脏疾病的研究，以肝纤维化、肝硬化门脉高压以及肝脏再生为研究方向。为上海领军人才、上海市优秀学科带头人，上海市侨届十杰；已主持7项国家自然科学基金（含重点项目·国际合作）、上海市联合攻关重大项目、上海市国际科技合作等课题，主编中英文专著5部，发表论文260余篇、其中国际核心期刊，如Gastroenterology, Gut, J Hepatol, Cancer Research, J Biol Chem等110余篇。

Prof. Yang Changqing had been studying in Harvard Medical School for about 3 years. He has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases, especially liver diseases. His research fields cover liver fibrosis, portal hypertension of liver cirrhosis and liver regeneration. He is the outstanding academic leader of Shanghai and the top 10 overseas Chinese of Shanghai. He has presided over 7 national Natural Science Foundation of China (including 1 key project), Shanghai Joint Major project, Shanghai International scientific and technological cooperation, edited 5 academic books in Chinese or English, published more than 260 papers, among which more than 110 were international core journals such as Gastroenterology, Gut, J Hepatol, Cancer Research, J Biol Chem, etc.
