长期从事医工交叉与智慧医学相关研究,将材料科学、医学、信息科学等前沿技术与医疗器械创新交叉结合,在医用材料改性、血管植介入、组织稳态修复、干细胞治疗、无线起搏器、神经调控、超微创手术系统等领域取得系列成果。
在血管通路领域,研制国际首台心电彩超多普勒系统及导管,解决靶血管智能筛选、无盲区穿刺、生物电导航等国际难题。在心脑血管领域,发明非对称药物涂层技术;首创超声控释药物球囊,药物利用度大幅度提高;发明可降解锌铜合金支架,选择强韧度、降解时间等性能符合临床需求的锌合金支架,国际上首次揭示锌合金支架体内降解规律,率先应用于临床。在生物电节律领域,突破大容量植入器械电池、超低功耗起搏器芯片、精准输送系统等关键技术,研发了兼具超长服役寿命和多模态感知的新一代无线心脏起搏器。
以第一完成人获国家科技进步二等奖、何梁何利科学与技术创新奖、谈家桢生命科学奖、教育部技术发明一等奖、省技术发明一等奖、中国产学研创新成果一等奖、中国专利优秀奖等国家和省部级奖励。
组建国家地方联合工程实验室1个、省部级创新平台6个。主持国家自然科学基金、国家“十二五”科技支撑、“十三五”“十四五”重点研发、高技术产业化、强基工程等国家级和省部级项目30余项;发表论文200余篇(SCI收录 116 篇),申请国内外专利370余项,已获授权近200项,其中国际专利18项;成果转化取得中国医疗器械注册证 71件、欧洲注册证5件;参与起草国家和行业标准12项;成果被中国和欧美临床诊疗指南/专家共识收录5项;培养博士后、博士、硕士近百人。
A second-level professor, he was selected as a Leading Talent of the National Ten Thousand Talents Program and a valid candidate for the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, and has been honored with titles including the National May 1st Labor Medal, "Taishan Scholar" Distinguished Expert, and "Outstanding Middle-aged and Young Expert with Remarkable Contributions".
He has long been engaged in research on the integration of medicine and engineering, as well as smart medicine, integrating cutting-edge technologies in materials science, medicine, and information science with innovations in medical devices. This has yielded a series of achievements in fields such as medical material modification, vascular implantation and intervention, tissue homeostasis repair, stem cell therapy, wireless pacemakers, neural regulation, and ultra-minimally invasive surgical systems.
