余晨教授主持国家自然科学基金6项，上海市及教育部科研项目10项，目前，已经发表中英文论著200余篇，其中SCI论文80余篇，发表中英文论文200余篇包括JASN、Advanced Science、CDD等。
近年一直专注于对“铜死亡与肾脏纤维化”的研究，具有创新性研究。
余晨教授注重对学生、实习医生、住院医师及青年教师的培养，其中，多名硕士、博士获得同济大学优秀硕士金、上海市优秀毕业生等荣誉称号；在临床工作中，她言传身授，注重教学，获得实习医生和住院医师的一致好评；同时，她带领的多名青年教师多次获得同济大学及附属同济医院“金教鞭”奖。
Professor Yu Chen presided over 6 national natural science funds, 5 research projects in Shanghai and the Ministry of Education. At present, she has published more than 100 articles in Chinese and English, including more than 40 SCI papers, one of which was published in the magazine JASN、Advanced Science、CDD.
Professor Yu Chen pays attention to the training of students, interns, residents and young teachers. Among them, many masters and doctors have won the honorary titles of Tongji University outstanding masters and Shanghai outstanding graduates. In clinical work, she said in words and deeds. She paid attention to teaching and received unanimous praise from interns and residents.
