现任上海市医师协会皮肤性病学分会副会长。

曾主持多项国家自然科学基金和上海市科委课题等；在EID、mBio等国际权威期刊上，以第一或通讯作者，发表多篇SCI论文，获较高影响因子；获国家科技进步二等奖、军队医疗成果一等奖、军队科技进步二等奖、上海市科技进步二等奖各一项，上海市医学科技进步二等奖两项，并取得二项国家发明专利；参与编写国际权威英文专著《cryptococcus and cryptococcosis》，任《International Journal of Nanomedicine》、《Medical Mycosis》、《Mycopathologia》等SCI期刊的副主编或编委。目前培养硕博士研究生共21名。
He was the principal investigator of many research grants including National Natural Science Foundation and Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, etc. He has published many SCI papers as the first or corresponding author in authoritative international journals such as EID and mBio.
He has been awarded several Prizes including the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, the first prize of military medical achievements, the second prize of Military science and Technology Progress, the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress, and the second prize of Shanghai Medical science and technology progress. He also obtained two national invention patents. Moreover, he participated in the compilation of the international authoritative english monograph cryptococcus and cryptococcosis. He is an associate editor or editorial board member of SCI journals including International Journal of Nanomedicine, Medical Mycosis and Mycopathologia . By now, he has trained about 21 graduate students.
