长期从事胃肠肿瘤的临床与基础研究，在结直肠肿瘤微创外科、肿瘤免疫微环境及人工智能辅助诊疗等领域开展系统性研究。作为国内较早一批开展腹腔镜微创外科技术的专家之一，从医40余年。主持或参与国家自然科学基金、军队临床高新技术重大专项及上海市科学技术委员会重点项目等科研课题20余项。在国内核心期刊发表论文280余篇，在 Molecular Cancer、Cancer Communications、Annals of Surgery、JAMA Surgery、Advanced Materials 等国际高水平期刊发表SCI论文70余篇，并参与制定10余项国家级及行业指南、标准与专家共识。曾获国家级及省部级科技奖励一、二等奖共7项，获授权国家发明专利5项、实用新型专利6项，培养研究生50名，并培养军队杰出青年人才、上海市优秀人才等高层次人才4人次，在胃肠肿瘤临床转化研究与高层次医学人才培养方面取得了显著成果。
Has long focused on clinical and basic research in gastrointestinal tumors, conducting systematic studies in minimally invasive colorectal surgery, tumor immune microenvironment, and AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment. Was among the early pioneers in China to adopt and promote laparoscopic minimally invasive surgical techniques, with over 40 years of clinical experience. Has led or participated in more than 20 research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, major military clinical high-tech programs, and key projects funded by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. Has published over 280 papers in leading Chinese journals and more than 70 SCI-indexed articles in high-impact international journals such as Molecular Cancer, Cancer Communications, Annals of Surgery, JAMA Surgery, and Advanced Materials, and has contributed to the development of more than 10 national and professional guidelines, standards, and expert consensuses. Has received 7 national and provincial/ministerial-level first- and second-class awards, holds 5 national invention patents and 6 utility model patents, and has supervised 50 postgraduate students. Has also mentored 4 high-level talents, including Military Distinguished Young Scholars and Shanghai Outstanding Talents, achieving notable contributions in translational research and high-level talent cultivation in gastrointestinal oncology.
