擅长肺部肿瘤的诊断和单孔胸腔镜精准切除与机器人辅助下复杂微创手术，以及手汗症、气胸肺大疱、纵隔胸壁肿瘤等胸外科疾病的外科治疗，每年主刀胸外科手术2000台以上。
长期从事肺癌、肺移植、医用生物材料的临床/基础研究。作为项目负责人承担了国家自然科学基金杰出青年科学基金、优秀青年科学基金，科技部重点研发计划青年项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目等，入选了上海市“优秀学术带头人”、上海青年科技英才等，获得了2018年度西班牙San Rafael奖（第一完成人），2019年度上海市医学科技青年科技奖（第一完成人）。近年来，以通讯作者在PNAS、Nature communications、Science Advances、Advanced Materials、Angewandte Chemie International Edition、Chem、Matter等高水平期刊发表了相关研究论文100余篇。
