张鹏教授临床上主要从事胸部疾病的微创外科及精准综合治疗，发起和参加了多项非小细胞肺癌的免疫新辅助和靶向新辅助临床研究，以及小细胞肺癌的免疫新辅助临床研究，取得了良好的临床治疗效果；科学研究专注于呼吸系统疾病的免疫微环境分子调控机制研究。张鹏教授作为项目负责人承担了国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金，优秀青年基金，重点项目，面上项目和重大研究计划培育项目。获得2018年上海医学科技奖三等奖（第一完成人），上海市教委“曙光学者”，上海市科委“优秀学术带头人”，上海市卫计委“优秀学科带头人”等荣誉，并以第一/通讯作者在Cell，JAMA，Cancer cell，Immunity，Nature Genetics，Nature Communications，Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy，Genome medicine，Genome Biology，Cancer research，Journal of Thoracic Oncology等国际学术期刊发表系列研究成果。
Professor Zhang Peng focuses primarily on minimally invasive surgery and precision comprehensive treatment of thoracic diseases in clinical practice. He has initiated and participated in several clinical studies on neoadjuvant immunotherapy and targeted neoadjuvant therapy for non-small cell lung cancer, as well as neoadjuvant immunotherapy for small cell lung cancer, achieving promising clinical outcomes. His scientific research is dedicated to investigating the molecular regulatory mechanisms of the immune microenvironment in respiratory diseases. As the principal investigator, Professor Zhang has undertaken several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including the Distinguished Young Scientists Fund, the Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, Key Project, General Project s, and Major Research Program Cultivation Project. He has received the third prize in the 2018 Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award (as the first contributor), and has been honored with titles such as " Dawning Scholar" by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, "Program of Shanghai Academic Research Leader" by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and "Outstanding Discipline Leader" by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission. He has published a series of research findings as the first or corresponding author in prestigious international academic journals, including Cell, JAMA, Cancer Cell, Immunity, Nature Genetics, Nature Communications, Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, Genome Medicine, Genome Biology, Cancer Research, and Journal of Thoracic Oncology.
