社会职务:同济大学教授,博士生导师,同济大学附属上海市肺科医院胸外科主任医师、党委书记,兰州大学萃英特聘教授。兼任中华医学会胸心血管外科学分会青年委员会副主任委员、上海市医师协会胸外科分会副会长、海峡两岸医药卫生交流协会胸外科专业委员会副主任委员、上海医学会胸外科专科分会委员和美国胸外科学会Active Member等职务,享国务院特殊津贴。

SOCIAL POSITION:Chang Chen, Ph.D., M.D., candidate advisor and professor, is currently the vice president of Tongji University-affiliated Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, chief physician of Thoracic Surgery of Tongji University-affiliated Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital and visiting professor of Lanzhou University School of Medicine. He is the deputy Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Medical Association Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Branch, vice Chairman of the Thoracic Surgery Branch of the Shanghai Medical Doctor Association, deputy Chairman of the Association of medical exchanges across the Taiwan straits and a member of the Thoracic Surgery Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association. Additionally, he is an active member of American Thoracic Surgery Association and awarded special government allowances of the State Council.
ACADEMIC POSITION:He serves as the Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Chinese Journal of Lung Cancer, Chinese Journal of Tumor; invited reviewer of Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, Lung Cancer and Clinical Lung Cancer.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:Prof. Chen and his team are deeply involved in the entire course management and precise treatment of thoracic tumor surgery. Their goals are to realize translational medicine and improve therapeutic effects. He leads 17 research projects, including projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has published more than 70 SCI papers as corresponding authors, including J Clin Oncol (IF= 28.2), J Thorac Oncol (IF=12.5), JAMA Surg (IF=10.7), Mod Pathol (IF=6.4), JAMA Netw Open (IF=5.1), etc. with a cumulative impact factor of 322 points. He compiled 7 monographs on thoracic tumor surgery and obtained 30 authorized patents.
In 2015, he was selected as a leading talent training program in Shanghai. In 2019, he was selected into the "National Hundreds and Thousands of Talents Project" plan, and won a total of 8 provincial and ministerial awards, including the second prize of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award in 2018, the second prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award in 2018, Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award in 2017, and Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award in 2016.
