在泌尿系统肿瘤，特别是膀胱癌、前列腺癌和肾癌的临床诊治与基础研究领域积累了丰富的经验，擅长膀胱肿瘤、前列腺肿瘤的微创治疗。
主持国家自然科学基金、教育部新教师基金、安徽省卫健委重点项目以及上海市申康医院发展中心技术推广项目等多项重要课题。主编及参编多部学术专著，发表高影响力论文20余篇，最高影响因子12.8。曾荣获华夏医学科技奖三等奖、上海医学科技奖三等奖、上海科普教育创新奖、同济大学教学成果奖等，并拥有实用新型专利一项。此外，完成了哈佛大学全球临床学者研究培训，具有较高的国际学术视野和研究能力。
