On November 22^nd, 2017, the 3^rd Excellent Medical Sapling Program Closing Meeting and 2017 White Lab Coats Granting Ceremony was held on the south square of the medical building.

Since 2014, Tongji University School of Medicine built an innovation program, which named “Excellent Medical Sapling Program”. It provides a great platform for freshmen to learn and gain research experiences in science and medicine. This program is leading our students to find their missions for the care and improvement of human life. It also helps them to understand how the clinical standardization works in reality.

With the honor and pride, our freshmen were given new white lab coats with the logo of TUSM. All of the students made their oaths. Dr. Zheng, Jialin Charles, the Dean of Tongji University School of Medicine, announced an inspirational speech and talked about his own career path. Meanwhile, Dr. Zheng looked forward to the brilliant future of the School of Medicine. He also made a slogan for TUSM: “We are M.A.D. (Motivation. Action. Dream)” and hoped the students to fulfill their dreams.
