The Second National Postgraduate Education
and Faculty Training Conference for Family Medicine and the 10th Shanghai
Sino-US Family Medicine Forum was held in Shanghai on October 19, 2019. This conference established
six sub-forums: Family Medicine Teaching Method Sub-Forum,
Family Medicine Management Sub-Forum, Canadian McGill University Sub-Forum, Family
Medicine Clinical Practice Sub-Forum, Family Medicine Education Sub-Forum, and Family Medicine Research
Sub-Forum.
The Management Sub-Forum was hosted by Ge Xuhua, a
postgraduate tutor in the department of general medicine at Tongji University
School of Medicine. Wu Hao, director of Beijing Fangzhuang Community Health
Service Center; Yu Dehua, director of General Medicine of Tongji University
School of Medicine and dean of Yangpu Hospital affiliated to Tongji University;
Peng Derong, director of Pengpu Xincun Street Community Health Service Center;
Zhou Liqing, deputy director of Huamu Community Health Service Center; and Bi
Wanrong, secretary of the Party Committee of Tongji Hospital, shared their
experience revolving around family doctor’s wisdom, quality control, electronic
health file construction and application, general practitioner team building
and career planning, practical application of health management path and other
contents. Experts at the meeting pointed out that in order to promote
construction it is necessary to closely combine with the national planning
requirements, and deeply integrate information technology with medical and
health services in the context of health informatization. Besides, the
importance of grassroots general practitioners participating in scientific
research was also emphasized.
In Clinical Practice Sub-Forum, hosted by Chen Weijie,
director of the Geriatrics Department of People's Hospital, Sun Xiaoming, a
professor at Fudan University and president of the Shanghai Community Health
Association, introduced the design ,content and innovation of NCD prevention
and control model of general medical in the report of general medical model
construction for chronic disease prevention and control and its key technology
applications. Jiang Chenghua, secretary of the Party Committee of Medicine and
Life Science of Tongji University, expounded the important position of
community health service institutions in early warning of public health
security and its new ideas and technologies. He proposed that community health
emergency rescue integrated with emergency services may play a bigger role.
Liang Xinglun, director of Geriatrics department at Yangpu Hospital, introduced
the classification, risk factors, risk assessment, nutritional factors of
osteoporosis, key and difficulty of prevention and treatment and general
medical management. Yang Hua, executive deputy director of the General Science
of Xiamen Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, introduced the definition
and characteristics of SOAP medical records, guided everyone to write SOAP
medical records, and explained how to display general diagnosis thinking with a
real record. Zhu Lan, chief physician of Xietu Street Community Health Service
Center, Xuhui District, detailedly explained the standardized management of
coronary heart disease after PCI. Control of risk factors, active
rehabilitation and reasonable drug treatment should be carried out post
operation.
He Jia, director of the Department of Statistics,
Naval Military Medical University, hosted the Research Sub-Forum. Shi Rong,
dean of School of Public Health at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese
Medicine, made a lecture titled "How to launch a research for
postgraduates majoring in Clinical Medicine ". He introduced the thesis
requirements, significance, and how to guide the graduates to choose topics
through selection principle, type and path. Ren Jingjing, director of General
Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, illuminated how
to conduct academic research on account of subject confusion, hotspots, blind
spots, existing problems, the status quo of scientific research, research
methods and directions. Wang Chaoxin, head of Social Medicine and Health
Management at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, delivered a
speech on "Evidence-based thinking in the era of big data", analyzing
opportunities brought by big data, proposing evidence-based decision-making under
the era for medical industry development, and introducing specific application
methods and future research directions through a case. Taking community
population research and chronic disease management as the center, Zhang Lijuan,
Tongji University School of Medicine, introduced the purpose and significance
of community population research and imparted how to implement community
population research scientifically based on related research topics.
