On March 6, Tongji University's Rehabilitation Physical Therapy major received full re-accreditation from the World Physiotherapy (WPT) for an additional five-year period, extending until 2030. It continues to be one of the few majors in China at the highest certification level.

The Rehabilitation Physical Therapy major, in cooperation with the Yangzhi Affiliated Rehabilitation Hospital of Tongji University, aims to cultivate outstanding rehabilitation physical therapy talents. It first passed the WPT education certification in 2021, and was selected as a national first-class undergraduate program construction point in 2022. For the past three consecutive years, it has been ranked as the top PT major in both the "ShanghaiRanking" and "Wu Shulian’s Ranking of Chinese Universities", consistently achieving an A+ grade. To date, the major has enrolled eleven batches of undergraduate students, boasting a 100% overall employment rate (67% entering graduate schools in China and abroad).
